Welcome to your second Mountain Bike Adventurous Journey! At Silver level, we seek to foster a true love of biking and support you in building a solid foundation of outdoor knowledge so you can continue exploring everything Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the World has to offer throughout your life!
As part of the Silver Adventurous Journey section, you and your peers will take part in an exciting Silver Qualifying Expedition, challenging yourselves to extend yourselves after the Training & Practice sections!
This 3-day Mountain Biking adventure through The Redwoods, Rotorua will give you a chance to build on some more technical skills while exploring one of NZ’s best Mountain Bike Parks.
There will also be a strong focus on group management, leadership, risk management, route planning, weather monitoring and skills developed over the earlier levels of your Duke of Edinburgh.
Start and Finish Times
- Drop off time: Friday 28th August, 7.00am at Bigfoot Adventures, 5/6 Argus Place, Hillcrest
- Pick up time: Sunday 30th August, 6.30pm from Bigfoot Adventures, 5/6 Argus Place, Hillcrest
