GPL & AGPL

Auckland Challenge utilizes software licensed under the GNU GPLv2 (or later) and GNU GPLv3 (or later) licenses. Auckland Challenge will comply with the terms set out within these licenses including providing the source code and modifications covered by the license upon request. For items licenced under AGPL, modifications and source are available on Auckland Challenge’s GitHub

To request the source code for software utilized by Auckland Challenge that is not available on GitHub please make a formal request to: Auckland Challenge Inc Technical Services, it@aucklandchallenge.org.nz, subject: GPL Source Request. Auckland Challenge will provide the source upon receipt of a $5 administration fee, the source may be provided in any format deemed suitable by Auckland Challenge .

Software utilized by Auckland Challenge under Open Source licenses:

  • Auckland Challenge Website (www.aucklandchallenge.org.nz): built off WordPress, Licensed under GNU GPLv2 (or later)
  • ACORN (acorn.aucklandchallenge.org.nz): built off Moodle, Licensed under GNU GPLv3 (or later)

Creative Commons

Auckland Challenge develops works licensed under the Creative Commons licenses. Applicable licenses are as follows:
