Welcome to your introduction into your Mountain Biking Adventurous Journey! At Silver level, we seek to foster a true love of the biking and build you a solid foundation of knowledge so you can continue exploring everything Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the World has to offer throughout your life!
As part of the Silver Adventurous Journey, you and your peers will go through a training component where we teach you the skills necessary to then move on to your Silver Practice & Qualifier in mountain biking!!
This is a mountain bike Training Day that will start at Bigfoot base and take you out to Woodhill Forest!
There will be introductory and skill-based sessions to begin where we teach the fundamentals of mountain biking and safety checks, and after that we will test out those skills on the beginner rides.
By the afternoon we may get a chance depending on experience levels of the group to extend ourselves to some intermediate rides.
Start and Finish Times
- Drop off time: Friday 24th July, 8.00am at Bigfoot Adventures, 5/6 Argus Place, Hillcrest
- Pick up time: Tuesday 24th July, 4.30pm from Bigfoot Adventures, 5/6 Argus Place, Hillcrest
