Silver/Gold – Training & Practice [Tramping]

This combined Silver/Gold Training & Practice event is an overnight trip, with the main focus being development of skills to prepare you for your upcoming Qualifying Journey. You can expect these days to be active, engaging and hands on!
Our experienced instructors will make use of teaching and learning opportunities throughout the trip, and the curriculum will be flexible depending on the needs of the group. We will focus on the specific areas where you need to upskill. At the end of the trip, your instructor will give you a personalized report so you know what to focus on in your further Qualifying Journey preparation.
This is a 2 day and 1 night tramping and camping event with 7 hours (8 hours for gold) of activity per day. You will need to carry all your own clothing, food, gear, tent, etc.
You must plan and bring your own food. We will send a menu ideas document to help you plan.
Free transport is provided from our base in Avondale.
