Welcome to the peak of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Adventurous Journey! At Gold level, we seek to foster a true love of the outdoors , and build you a solid foundation of knowledge so you can continue exploring everything Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the World has to offer throughout your life!
As part of the Gold Adventurous Journey, you and your peers have planned an exciting Gold Practice & Qualifying Expedition in its entirety, challenging yourselves to consider the biggest and perhaps wildest journey you’ve ever been on!
This is a 5 day combined Practice & Qualifying Journey that you have planned and trained for as a group. We will be supporting students to grow their edge, belong together and lead their journey as well as ensuring safety of the group at all times.
Pre-requisites for this Journey are the Gold Planning & Training Days.
Start and Finish Times
Drop off: Tuesday 15th December, 6.00am at Bigfoot Adventures (5/6 Argus Place, Hillcrest)
Pick up: Saturday 19th December, 6.30pm from Bigfoot Adventures (5/6 Argus Place, Hillcrest)
