Double weekend residential opportunity you must enrol for 2 weekends and not know anyone else on the residential. This residential is learning the basics of farming and property maintenance. Previously students have learnt how to construct basic of chicken coop, basic fencing and basic tool work. 

You can use this day for either silver training or gold training, depending on your Award level. This is a practical day where you will need equipment for a day tramp.

There is prior coursework to be done and if you have not done acorn training this is a requirement. ACORN by Auckland Challenge

Exploration Bronze, silver and gold (will only go ahead if there are enough enrolments). An Exploration is a journey with a purpose, you must have a sound purpose and the end result is a project of some form. Planning meetings:

You will need to provide you own tent for camping and your own food, you will also need to book your own spot at Tawharanui once we have started the planning process

This will only go ahead if there are enough people enrolled.
