DESCRIPTION:This journey is run by Bigfoot AdventuresWelcome to your final step in completing your Bronze Adventurous Journey Section. \n\n\n\nThis qualification will allow you to progress onto the Silver Adventurous Journey\, as long as you have completed all other sections of the Silver Award as well! \n\n\n\nThis is an overnight adventure delivered in the amazing Waitakere Ranges! DESCRIPTION:This journey is run by Bigfoot AdventuresWelcome to the first step towards completing your Adventurous Journey section of your Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award! \n\n\n\nThe key focus of this training and practice journey is to provide you with an opportunity to build on the many skills that were introduced to you during the Bronze Adventurous Journey Section OR for direct entrants to learn and develop these foundational skills ahead of your qualifier. \n\n\n\nFor this 3 day/2 night journey\, participants will be exploring the history of the Kaimai Ranges & Karangahake Gorge with it’s old logging trails\, mining tunnels and beautifully diverse flora/fauna. \n\n\n\nTo be eligible for the Silver Training & Practice Journey\, all participants are to have successfully completed the Bronze prerequisites unless a direct entrant .
