DESCRIPTION:This journey is run by Bigfoot AdventuresWelcome to the first step towards completing your Adventurous Journey section of your Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award! \n\n\n\nThe key focus of this training and practice journey is to provide you with an opportunity to build on the many skills that were introduced to you during the Bronze Adventurous Journey Section OR for direct entrants to learn and develop these foundational skills ahead of your qualifier. \n\n\n\nFor this 3 day/2 night journey\, participants will be exploring the history of the Kaimai Ranges & Karangahake Gorge with it’s old logging trails\, mining tunnels and beautifully diverse flora/fauna. \n\n\n\nTo be eligible for the Silver Training & Practice Journey\, all participants are to have successfully completed the Bronze prerequisites unless a direct entrant . DESCRIPTION:This journey is run by Bigfoot AdventuresWelcome to your first Mountain Bike Adventurous Journey! At Silver level\, we seek to foster a true love of biking and support you in building a solid foundation of outdoor knowledge so you can continue exploring everything Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the World has to offer throughout your life! \n\n\n\nAs part of the Silver Adventurous Journey section\, you and your peers will take part in an exciting Silver Practice Expedition\, challenging yourselves to build on the skills you learnt from your Training Day in a 2 days/1 night time frame! \n\n\n\nThis is 2-day Mountain Biking adventure through the Woodhill Forest will give you a chance to build on and explore more of the park than at your Training Day.
