Exploration Bronze, silver and gold (will only go ahead if there are enough enrolments). An Exploration is a journey with a purpose, you must have a sound purpose and the end result is a project of some form. Planning meetings will be 28 June and 1 July 6-7PM via teams, once your enrol you will be sent a link to the planning document. Must enrol before 27 June 2022.
There has been a amazing opportunity to do 2 days kayaking with Auckland Sea Kayaks, so the Saturday and Sunday and from Sunday afternoon will be land based. So anyone doing bronze will be doing kayaking for the 2 days, those doing silver journeys or gold practice, will be doing 2 days kayaking and 1 day exploring the beautiful Shakespear Regional Park.
Please talk to us if finances is an issue as there is a subsidy available. Please enrol under contracts if you have already applied for the subsidy
Suggested purposes – To locate and identify 10 different breeds of birds and try and photograph them.
To photograph landscapes and paint or draw them
To design a house that would fit into the landscape
Establish how to make the parks more accessible for people with special needs
All journeys are numbers dependant, so please try and enrol ASAP so we can get everything underway
