“To celebrate 70 years of changing lives, join the World Clean Up Day Challenge! Make your pledge, clean up your community, post your efforts and inspire others to do the same.”

📅 MARK THE DATE: SUNDAY 20 SEPTEMBER, THIS WEEKEND
Kia ora Auckland Challenge participants and whānau,
This Sunday, we’re inviting all Auckland Challenge participants, families, Award Leaders and supporters to be part of something bigger than any one Award. Whatever you’re doing, whether it’s a beach, a stream, the school grounds, or the street outside your door, it counts, and it adds to a picture being built by Award communities all over the world.
How to take part
Download the GOALD app on your phone and create an account. Doing this as a group? Only one person needs an account to submit on behalf of everyone.
Find the World Clean Up Day Challenge inside the app.
Select Pledge a Clean-up, and tell everyone what you’ll be cleaning and how much time or effort you’re putting in.
Get out there and complete your clean-up.
Return to the challenge and tap Post Response, sharing what you did, a photo or video, and your group’s story.
📱 GOALD is a phone app, so search for “Goald – Challenge App” in the App Store or Google Play on your mobile. It isn’t available on a computer.
🔔 While you’re in the app, follow @aucklandchallenge so we can see and celebrate what your group gets up to.
